The well-being of the child is at our heart. We strive to make a safe environment for both you and your kids. Here is our child policy:
- We can accommodate children above years. Children below 2 years are not permitted to participate in our safari tours.
- Any children between 2 and 14 years must be accompanied by their parent or guardian
- Children between 15 and 18 years have to produce a letter of permission from their parents if not accompanied by any parent.
- Families with children have to pre-book a private safari vehicle which is subject to availability.
- Trekking the chimpanzees is permitted for children above 15 years.
- Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and other mountains is permitted for individuals above 15 years.
- Walking safaris are not permitted for children below 5 years.
For accommodation:
- If a child shares a room with two adults, 60% of the adult rate will be charged.
- If a child shares a room with another child, 60% of the adult rate will be charged.
- If a child shares a room with one adult, 100% of the adult rate will be charged.
Bob Geor Adventures and Safaris will work with “Third Parties” like accommodations when offering our services. We recommend a review of their child policy.
Force Majeure clauses
Bob Geor Adventures and Safaris shall not be deemed in breach of contracts in case of failure or delay of performance if such delay or non-performance is due to any force majeure. We reserve the right to cancel or modify the trip in circumstances beyond our control (including, but not limited to war or threat of war, acts of God, sickness, quarantine, terrorist attack, government intervention, sabotage, fire accident, flood or explosion, or others). We assume no responsibility in the following cases:
Other Terms & Conditions
- We do not assume any responsibility for any unforeseen condition of the road or airstrip.
- Any activity added by the client but not included in the safari package will charged as an extra cost.
- Any personal injury resulting from activities, like chimpanzee trekking, walking safaris, canoe or boat rides, climbing mountains, and gorilla trekking. These activities are associated with risks of sustaining serious personal injuries. Your travel insurance or personal finances will cover it.
